Cialis

Sexual dysfunction in men and women causes misery and unhappiness everywhere, Sexual dysfunction in men is because of their erection problems; this condition is called erectile dysfunction (ED). Erectile dysfunction is a very common condition in the world, especially in men over the age of 40. Almost all men suffer from erectile dysfunction at some point of time in their lives.

Cialis has been a blessing to many men who were experiencing problems in bed .Cialis absorbs quite rapidly in the blood stream, usually within 30 to 120 minutes. It is a highly protein bound drug (96%) which means that is will absorb faster when taken with a high protein meal. Taking it with a high fat meal will reduce the absorption rate.

The penis has three bodies containing a dense network of blood vessels along all its length. During erection blood is filled into the vessels of these bodies. The bodies then engorge, make the penis hard and rise it up. The filling of these bodies occur when the vessels leading blood to the penis relax and vessels draining the penis constrict their volume.

Before and during erection nerves lead impulses to the genitals. The nerve ends in this area then releases the substance nitrogen oxide. Nitrogen oxide will diffuse through the genital area and the penis and stimulate the reaction of the blood vessels in the penis.

Fat Loss Myths Revealed

Posted in Medical Resources on May 27th, 2008

Wouldn’t it be great to be able to eat as much as you want as often as you want and have body fat melt away while you sleep, watch TV, or sit behind your desk at work? I’d certainly go for that - being able to be fit with very little or no effort at all.

Turn on the TV and what do we see? Television ads promising you weight loss and fitness with no effort. Want to lose that extra fat around your belly? Just take these pills. Walk into the bookstore and browse through the rows and rows of books advocating one diet fad or the other. The problem is that most of them offer conflicting information. I’ll be straightforward in telling you that rather than separating the fat from your body, most of these people are more interested in separating your money from your wallet.

I’ve tried many of these diet and exercise fads and can tell you that most of them flat out do not work. Some of the diets will work, but will force your body to do things that it was designed to not do, therefore your body thinks it’s deathly ill and starts burning fat as an energy source. Losing fat is not a bad thing at all, but tricking your body into burning fat by responding with a survival mechanism is. What are the long term effects of these fad diets? Who really wants to live the type of restrictive lifestyle that these diets push on you? Who really wants to work hard and suffer for something that in 20 years from now will be the laughingstock of the fitness community? There has to be a better way…

The true path to fat loss is so simple, yet no diet book author would ever admit it. The secret is this:

Burn more calories than you eat.

That’s all. There’s really nothing more to it than that, and you probably already know this! There is no more effective way, no special fruit from the amazon, no machine that you can use that will give you better results.

Unfortunately there are plenty of people who would like to pull the wool over your eyes about what to eat, how to starve yourself, what machine to use to get the perfect body. Next time you reach for the next diet fad book, brochure on an ab exerciser, or pick up the phone to dial a number you got off of an infomercial, think about this - they didn’t work in the past, and they won’t work again because you’re still not burning more calories than you’re taking in.

After scouring the internet, bookstores, and trying just about any diet I could find to lose that extra 30 pounds I’ll tell you what’s worked for me:

Keep a food journal, tracking all of the calories that you take in. Be detailed. You’ll be surprised at how much stuff you can cut out if you just write it down. Personally, I was disgusted at the amount of sugars and junk foods I was ingesting on a daily basis. I didn’t eliminate them, only cut back a little.

Find out how many calories you burn in a day. You burn most of your calories just by existing. This is called basal metabolism. Find a chart to see how many calories are burned for certain activities for your weight class.

Exercise regularly. It doesn’t take much, only around 20 minutes a day 3-5 days a week. Regular exercise will increase your metabolism and cause your body to burn even more calories even while you’re not active.

Being fit is a lifestyle. It doesn’t have to be severely limiting and it doesn’t even have to be painful. Being fit is always easier in the long run than putting yourself through the ringer with limiting or starvation diets.

My search for the perfect diet and exercise program took me 8 years and ironically the one thing that worked for me was the easiest and least expensive thing out of all of the others I tried.

Training as a medical coder

Posted in Education Special, House Of Insurance, Medical Resources on May 19th, 2008

It is possible to obtain medical coding training in a number of places but it isn’t as easy to find a quality program. To begin with, most all training curriculum concentrates on academic training only. Although academics are vital to a good education, so is comprehensive hands-on training. This is crucial to allow for the student to fully be prepared to work in their career.

The programs we offer allow the students to remain employed and still learn medical coding at their own pace in the most convenient environment. While it is the most productive way to learn medical coding and find a good job, making the investment in time and money to go through training isn’t for everyone.

Medical coding training programs can take a lot of your time and money. Once you make a commitment to one, it is difficult and costly to withdraw and start over elsewhere. So the decision is an important one. What aspects make a respectable medical coding training program? In what ways do the best schools stand out from the others?

Truthfully, the most important part is to actually get a job when you’re done with school. So that you can do that, you need credentials to prove that you are worthy of working and that you truly are a proficient medical coder. When a potential employer views your resume you need to show that you attended a reputable institute that emphasized on realistic attention.

Elite Personal Trainer Blasts New Over the Counter Weight Loss Pill

Posted in Medical Resources on May 17th, 2008

Consumers may soon be able to purchase a brand new over the counter weight loss pill. Federal health advisors have already given their go ahead, but it still needs FDA approval before it goes on sale nationwide. GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare is in position to offer this fat blocking pill to the public. They are shooting for a release date by the end of this year.

Consumers want to know if this is ground breaking news or if this is another attempt to rob them of their hard earned cash. The difference between this new diet pill, called orlistat and currently being sold with a doctor’s prescription as Xenical, and several others from the past are that orlistat is garnering nationwide media and public interest.

“Everyone is getting excited about taking a magic pill,” states Lynn VanDyke, elite personal fitness professional and fitness nutritionist. “It all sounds brilliantly simple until we read about its side effects and cost.”

In 6 month clinical trials, obese people taking orlistat lost 5.3 - 6.2 pounds more than those given a placebo. Representatives from GlaxoSmithKline also announced that at $12-$25 per week for the pill over 5 million people in America would buy the drug if it sold over the counter.

VanDyke explains, “The corporations are planning on making over $1 billion per year in sales if orlistat is sold over the counter. As consumers we must educate ourselves and hold ourselves personally responsible. This drug has shown unpleasant side effects in half of the trial participants. That’s just outrageous.”

GlaxoSmithKline lists orlistat’s possible side effects as loose and oily stools, gas, incontinence and oily spotting. Even the FDA panel members are concerned with how this diet pill will interact with diabetics, bulimics, organ transplant patients and those taking other prescription pills. Watchdog groups such as Public Citizen urged the panel to reject the company’s application, calling it a “desperate attempt to revive this barely effective drug by an OTC switch.”

“All in all, the magic pill leaves you bloated and oily. It stops working once you stop taking it. That adds up to between $288 and $600 per 6 months. That is how long the GlaxoSmithKline recommends taking this pill before stopping for a break. I would much rather learn a few simple tools on how to eat well and live a healthy life than take this so-called miracle pill,” says VanDyke.

Consumers who are in dire straits to lose fat but are concerned with the side effects and cost of orlistat are being referred to the Melt the Fat Interactive Guide (more info at http://melt-the-fat.com
). It provides detailed step-by-step processes that develop a healthy lifestyle filled with fitness, eating to live and life goal setting.

Encouraging Tips when CANCER is the Diagnosis

Mind Saving Tips When Cancer is the Diagnosis

This scares me to death and a CANCER diagnosis or even the
“word” scares nearly every one of us. While this article is
not meant do diminish the dangers of this disease by any
stretch, this is also to encourage those who either find
themselves facing the cancer diagnosis or simply knowing
someone
who does, and finding the need to be better informed.

The facts about Cancer are that in early years, it was much
more fatal than it is today in 2005. The fact is that Cancer
has shown it can be cured, and this is happening every day,
and the chances for cure are very closely related to the
detection stage…The earlier it is detected, the better the
chance of cure.

Before proceeding with the article however, the reader
should be aware that the term or word “Cancer” is really a
catch all for many different diseases or forms of the
disease, and depending upon the organ of the body effected,
the cause and cure can vary significantly.

We’d like to discuss all of these, but volumes have been
written by experts, and to only summarize those writings
would take years to put in one place.

But now the good news.. Cancer is nowhere near as fatal as
it once was, nor is it an automatic death sentence.

We’d like to make this a meaningful article by emphasizing
just a couple of key points: There is a highly linked cause
and effect between some causes and some Cancer forms. The
most obvious is Smoking and Lung Cancer. This could be
followed by the introduction of other foreign subjects into
a person’s lungs. Things such as asbestos particles. The
point is that by trending toward a more healthy life style
the risks of contracting certain cancers can be reduced.

The other key point is that there are really TWO treatment
paths: One in general is the conventional medical treatments
of chemo, radiation, and surgery. Dear Reader, this is big
business with major financial interests, and many who say
that those interests in fact take precedence over cure
results.

The other treatment path is unconventional or Alternative
Treatments. This can begin with maintaining an alkaline pH
of the body. Many, many, many alternative treatments are
indeed “quackery” and also motivated by money.. but there
are also alternative treatments which have cure track
records. Are these coincidental? Some researchers claim
direct cause-effect relationships, and many of these
alternatives offer far fewer side effects than “cut-burn-
poison” conventional approaches.

Each person with a serious interest in the subject should be
certain to study BOTH approaches, and the time to do so is
before the medical crisis begins. Fortunately, research on
both approaches is now widely available due to the Internet,
and this should be taken advantage of.

Craniosacral Therapy

Posted in Medical Resources on April 28th, 2008

Light touch coupled with intent and direction of energy is used to bring the cranial, spinal, and pelvic structured back into balance and to remove blockages that the body’s own physiologic forces have been unable to overcome. One of the hallmarks of craniosacral therapy is the use of a very light touch. The amount of pressure used is seldom more than 1 ounce, and is often more on the order of 5 grams the weight of a nickel. By using such gentle pressure, the therapist assists the client’s body to self-correct and avoids encountering resistance.

An experiential example can facilitate understanding of how light touch decreases resistance. For example, imagine a hard pull on one of your arms. Your immediate reaction is to resist by holding back against the pull. Thus protecting yourself. The use of light touch is a way of not engaging the body’s natural tendency to resist change.

Reliance on the inherent self-correcting mechanism of the body is another of the hallmarks of craniosacral therapy. This approach relies on the body’s own wisdom and desire to move toward homeostasis to guide the treatment session. Treatment is a cooperative effort between the therapist who is trying to help the system work more effectively and the person receiving treatment. For this reason, treating the craniosacral system is not only useful for correcting disease, but also for promoting a high level of wellness.

4d scans - baby ultrasound company

Posted in Health Info, Kids Stuff, Medical Resources on April 15th, 2008

The method know as three dimensional ultrasound is that can be used when a woman is in early pregnancy, it can provide 3d pictures of the unborn baby. Most of the time the ultrasound pictures are captured and joined together and made into a movie to make a 4d ultrasound scan.

Three dimensional scanning works in the same way to the normal ultrasound scanning methods except that the ultrasound scanning waves can be directed from multiple directions. The ultrasound pulses are reflected back then captured to provide info to construct a 3d image in much the same way as 3d pictures. 3 dimesional ultasound scanning was devised by stephen smith and olaf von ramm.

It’s important to understand that sonologists all over the world always conjured 3d images of the body in their minds while doing 2d scans. However, until recently it was not possible to do this type of reconstruction on on info using ultasound scanning. With the advent of 4d scans for the first time allowed us a view into the thinking of a sonologist and so letting us see the images on the ultrasound machine.

The 3d/4d ultrasound image should utilize ultrasound energy following the same limits as conventional 2d ultrasound to create the 3d images. While there is no information of harm due to 3d ultrasound, its use in none essential situations should be undertaken with an understanding of the risks involved.

Reiki

Posted in Medical Resources on April 11th, 2008

REIKI is a form of natural healing through direct application of Universal Life Force Energy, or CHI (the term used by Chinese mystics and martial artists for the underlying Universal force, otherwise, energy). Through Reiki, energy is thought to be effected by thought. Reiki implies that our energy can be shaped and manipulated by thought patterns.

Both Quantum Physics and ancient Metaphysics incorporate this unique understanding of Reiki. As in ancient times when Jesus walked our Earth, Reiki would be the explanatory cause to His miraculous healing touch. Research shows that prayer imporves health for those who are being prayed for; in other words, the thoughts have transcended to reality. Reiki is very easy to learn, simple to use and very beneficial. A technique of application, Reiki, utilizes an energy force commonly known as vibration. (This term is merely descriptive of how the energy feels.)

Reiki healing is performed easily as a practitioner places his or her hands upon the person to be healed, confident that the healing will indeed occur; then the energy strats to flow. (Reiki can also be performed on one’s self.) Reiki energy simply knows where to go, what to do when it gets there as if it is being guided by a Higher Force. Reiki’s energy manages its own flow to and internally of the recipient. Drawing from the healer the precise amount of energy which the client needs.

The possibilites of Reiki healing are endless. Limits of Reiki are confined only to the willingness of the recipients to cast off old habits and the acceptance of transformation and healing. Reiki, performs through energy structure of matter. As Einstein eqated each unit of mass’ equivalence to precise amounts of energy - Reiki operates through the notion that anything can be changed because all is like fluid and is movable. Theoretically, Reiki can heal emotional issues as well as physical ones. Reiki is the return to “greater wholeness;” therefore, a passage to healing and well-being.
